About Brandon

Senior Vice President

Brandon serves as Senior Vice President at Flywheel Government Solutions, based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining and helping to develop Flywheel, Brandon served as a Senior Associate member of Dutko Grayling’s Energy Infrastructure and Sustainability team. He assisted with political, policy and market analysis, along with strategic government affairs outreach and engagement for clients at the federal & state levels, respectively. To date, Brandon represents a range of energy and infrastructure-oriented entities with sectors ranging from midstream natural gas to building efficiency technologies and applications.

At Flywheel, Brandon works to assist clients with public policy, regulatory policy and procurement issues. Though the firm covers a variety of government affairs issues, Brandon focuses considerably on energy & infrastructure-oriented policy issues at the federal and state levels. Brandon works extensively with a number of leading trade associations, third party advocacy groups and political organizations. Through these efforts, Brandon works to develop and manage client relationships with these respective organizations in order to effectively advance industry and/or legislative/executive advocacy goals.

In May of 2013, Brandon was also selected to be part of a Republican-led U.S. delegation focused on promoting best practices and transatlantic partnership building for clean energy and energy efficiency policies. This delegation met with several clean energy regulators, utility cooperatives, and energy producers/suppliers, as well as staff from the EU Parliament representing all of its political parties.

Brandon's understanding of the fluidity of the various state political landscapes, public policy trends and how these trends impact private markets allows his clients to stay informed and proactive within the government affairs realm. Brandon works with clients to both devise and execute on measured government affairs strategies that build rapport and thus yield positive and impactful results.

In addition to his involvement with a variety of trade and political organizations, Brandon also serves on the National Finance Committee for the Republican State Leadership Committee, is a Member of the DC Chapter Steering Committee & Member of the Future 40 Nominations Committee for Maverick PAC, as well as a Member of the National Taxpayers Union Board of Directors.

A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Brandon is married with 2 sons and resides in Fairfax, VA.
